Confident Healthcare

Without The Overwhelm

Training that helps clinicians tend with confidence & bloom with purpose.

As a healthcare clinician do you?

Yearn to feel more confident recognising and responding to psychological and emotional needs within your perinatal care? Whilst trying to juggle the essential medical and physical care.
Struggle with your own self-care, and showing up every day for others either as a mental health or medical clinician.....Calm on the outside, but quietly carrying the weight of your role, and asking yourself: “How do I care for myself when I'm always caring for others?”.

You have come to the right place

In either case, you just need the right support.

I created this space to support the people who support others. Helping healthcare clinicians like you, learn skills that strengthen you in your role and practices that nourish you as a person.

With more than twenty five years experience in perinatal and family mental health, and a love of floristry and therapeutic horticulture, I have seen how growth in our work comes from both learning and replenishment.

Each program opens a door to learning that strengthens both skill and self.

You may begin with one or find value in both.

Together they reflect the seasons of professional growth. The doors below represent two pathways of care and connection - one that helps you tend to your professional skill and confidence, and another that helps you bloom through creative reflection and renewal.

Let's start.....

My Story

Carla Anderson Psychologist and Trainer

I am a Clinical Psychologist, with over 25 years of experience providing psychological therapy and training services, setting up my private practice in 2005, specifically focused on the perinatal period and children and youth.

As a healthcare clinician I am acutely aware of the demands and burn-out risks, and the importance of training that not only builds confidence as a clinician, but also focuses on self-care, to support us supporting others.

I am passionate about providing training, clinical supervision and consultancy to other healthcare clinicians related to perinatal and infant mental health.

I also recently gained my qualification as a florist, and was introduced to therapeutic horticulture and the benefits of using flowers and psychology together. This is the foundation of developing psychoeducational training for clinician self-care using floristry.
